What makes the CB PRO biodegradable?
Unlike traditional plastic balls that take centuries to break down, the CB PRO is made with modified polyethylene (MPE)—a plastic that has been chemically altered through oxygenation and other processes so that microorganisms and bacteria can break it down naturally over time.
How long does it take to biodegrade?
The timeline depends on the environment, but it breaks down much faster than conventional plastic pickleballs. While it won’t start degrading while you play, it won’t sit in a landfill for 500+ years, either.
Does it leave behind microplastics?
Nope! The CB PRO was designed to biodegrade fully, so it won’t contribute to microplastic pollution. That’s a big win for the planet.
